Come take a journey back in time when going to the gas station was an experience. From the time you hear the “Ding! Ding!” when you pulled up to the pump, the local attendants offered to check your oil and pump your gas. 

Jimmy Rosen, a member of the West Shore Historical Society and from the Old Sled Works in Duncannon, has just published a pictorial of gas stations from the past.  WSHS members Emily McCoy and Kurt Harlacher also contributed research to identify the locations of the filling stations throughout central PA. The collection is from  Atlantic Refining in Harrisburg.
